Barrels of Love is an industry wide non-perishable food drive. The drive starts on Valentine's Day and runs for two weeks. This program was started in 2013 due to the increased food need in our community and decreased donations. Toray Fluorofibers (Amerca), Inc. partner with Daikin America, Inc. by contacting local industries who are pleased to help their community. The first year was a big success! Fourty-three industries joined in collecting a total of 21,749 non-perishable food items. Food collected supported local food pantries of the CCC, Salvation Army, and the Backpack Program for the School System.

This is the second year for this program and we hope to increase our industry and business support, as well as increase food item collections. Toray and Daikin are partnering again with a vision of passing the torch to another lead in our local industry for eachh following collection year.
